This blog is going to be all about what my cats eat, what they like to eat and what they dislike eating. Both of my cats love their food, anytime their food bowl is empty, they always come running to me until I fill it back up again. Miso, in particular is such a foodie and a big back. Anytime I am eating food or have food on the counter or table, she will try to get in it and eat it up. She is also loves drinking my water too. If I have water in a cup that I am drinking from, she will stick her head in the cup and try to drink it. Sometimes this leads to her knocking over and breaking the cup.
Currently, I am feeding my cats a blend of Purina Naturals For Adults and Costco dry cat food. I am only doing this because the Costco food is much cheaper than the Purina food and I am trying to wean Stormi and Miso onto the Costco food. The only problem is they don’t really like the Costco food as much, and they would rather eat the Purina Naturals food. The Costco food also makes their breath smell bad which I do not enjoy very much. I am almost running out of this blend so soon I will need to figure out which kind of cat food I should feed them. To be honest, I think if they like the Purina Naturals food, I will just end up spending the extra money and giving them the food they like. In addition to dry cat food, I also feed them the Fancy Feast wet cat food. Cats can get easily dehydrated, so feeding them wet food as a supplement to their dry food diet can really help with this. Stormi does not like the wet food very much, but Miso loves it. To make sure they stay hydrated, I always give them fresh water from my Brita every single day.
Along with their normal food, I sometimes try give them treats. The only problem with this is they are so so picky about their treats. Many times, I will buy them cat treats and they will not eat it. I have tried buying them a variety of different treats: dental treats for their stinky breath, calming treats for Stormi’s anxiety, and catnip treats because cats are supposed to like that. They refuse to eat any of them. It is the most disappointing thing to be excited to give my cats a treat that I picked out and then they just sniff it and turn away. I am always surprised my cats do not eat catnip because I thought it was supposed to make most cats go crazy but I guess my cats aren’t for that life.
Although they don’t really like cat treats, Miso loves to eat food off of my plate. Just yesterday, I had these noodles and chicken skewers. I left my plate on the table to go to the other room for a few minutes. When I came back, the chicken skewer was half eaten on the floor! I was so angry at her because she ate my food, but also, I did not know if the sauce and spices on the chicken skewer were even safe for her to eat. Generally it is not recommended for you to feed your cat table food, because they shouldn’t eat too much salt and seasonings; their stomach isn’t used to it. But apparently Miso is perfectly fine eating table food.
Sometimes, my boyfriend will specifically cook Miso plain chicken or give her canned tuna. I always yell at him for it because although the food might be safe for her to eat, I don’t want her getting into the habit of eating human food. Recently he hasn’t done that which is good, but Miso still begs for table scraps which really annoys me sometimes.
Thank you for reading my blog, this is the last week I will be writing these, please check out my other blogs in the meantime!

You may remember that we have Coral and Whiskers. Recently, Whiskers started wetting around the house. The vet recommending sprinkling a calming (anti-anxiety) supplement over his food. I think it is working, but it is expensive! I thought of Stormi when the vert mentioned anxiety!
