Meet Stormi and Miso! Two enemies-turned-sisters who live in their own little world within the confines of my apartment! Stormi is the cat on the left of the picture with the half orange, half gray, face and green eyes. She’s around five years old and is very laidback and chill. Some of her favorite things to do is to nap and to play-fight with her little sister Miso. Miso is the gray tabby cat in the picture and she is super energetic and playful. She’s constantly jumping off the walls (quite literally) and is always getting into trouble.

This duo is all about cuteness and playfulness and will make your heart melt with how sweet they are to each other while also making you so angry at some of the things they do. Follow along with us in their small world to see their daily activities, get cute cat pictures and join us in their adventures!

First things first, let’s go more in depth about what this blog is about! The goal of this blog is to spread joy and playfulness to the world and let everyone meet my cats and fall in love with them like I have! although they can be a handful sometimes, I try to make their life fun and interesting in order to give them a good quality of life! Some of the things I do is setting up playdates, taking them out for walks, and trying out new treats to give them (they are super picky).

They definitely make my life better too! There’s no better feeling than coming home to two cats who absolutely ADORE me and follow me around EVERYWHERE (yes, even the bathroom)! Stormi is always down to cuddle and Miso and her endless energy always wants to play. Even if they get annoying sometimes, they are always cute and I can’t stay mad at them forever.

My blog will mainly focus on their daily life and routine and what it’s like to live in their little world. This blog will also cover topics such as what I do to take care of them. Taking care of two indoor cats in a small 600 ft studio apartment is a lot of work! Especially when one of them is a little kitten with tons of energy! Something this blog will also cover is my leash training journey with Miso. Cats are famously hard to leash train because they often have a mind of their own and refuse to cater to their owners direction. As mentioned previously, Miso is such an energetic cat and she is always breaking my things and bouncing off the walls. My solution to get her energy out is to leash train her so I can walk her around my neighborhood. We will see how well she  takes to a harness and leash and how easily she will walk for me.

A little bit about our story and background. Stormi was my Christmas gift my sophomore year of high school. During that time, she was primarily both an indoor and outdoor cat. I am surprised she adjusted so well to indoor cat life. When I went to college and moved off campus junior year, I was able to take Stormi with me! The first few months, I felt really bad for her because I was not at my apartment very much because I had a busy schedule with classes and work. I took her to the vet and they diagnosed her with anxiety and gave me medication to feed her. It helped a little bit but I think Stormi was really bored.

That’s when Miso came into our little world. My boyfriend got Miso from a friend of his whose cat at a litter of kittens. He adopted Miso but then he wasn’t home very much between classes and work and his family didn’t really want to take care of a cat.  So we decided that since we both had two lonely cats, we can introduce them so they can be sisters. I will be honest with you though, we did not introduce them the proper way. We kinda just threw them in a same room together and hoped for the best.

I will admit, the first month or so was really rough for them. Stormi would hiss at Miso anytime she got close and they both avoided each other. After a while, they soon came to love each other and become super close. Now they are inseparable and I think introducing them to each other was the right choice.

I am very excited to write this blog dedicated to my two cats that documents their lives. Everything from their daily life to their playdates with other cats to vet trips and to breaking things this blog will tell all!
